Open since 1989 the museum is an example of underground mining. During the 2 hour visit you will see the old engines, compressors and other materials used in the mine. 

Location: Between Longwy and Metz (A30) exit Aumetz

Opening hours: from 1 May till 30 September all days from 14.00 till 18.00 hours. Monday closed

In this museum you will have a trip through the time. Starting in 1878 with the old mine system up to 1980 with modern electric mining machines. Outside you can visit the museum getting an idea what they do with the ore
