The Infantry block is the most common block in the line. They are constructed at the outside of the fort.

An infantry block defence the artillery blocks against an infantry attack. The blocks are armed with turrets, retractable turrets or embrasures with machine guns and anti-tank guns. To shoot at night some blocks have a projector which can be controlled from the inside
