Michelsberg
This fort has 5 blocs of which 3 with artillery and one entrance. There is no ammunition warehouse like in other large forts
On the 20th June 1940 the fort was attacked by German troops. With help of other forts the attacked was beat off
Nowadays the fort is open for public and partly restored.

Block 2: infantry casemate
Block 3: retractable turret for two 81 mortars
Block 5: retractable turret for two 75 mm canons
Block 6: retractable turret for two 135 mm mortars
Crew: 495 men
Engines: 4 SGCM 120 HK
Situation: between Thionville and Bouzonville at Dalstein direction Ebersviller (see local signs)
