Een gesloopt schietgat The small fort Aumetz has three blocks with machinegun and anti-tank guns

The crew was 112 men and 2 officers.

This fort was one of the first forts who surrendered it self after the armistice after it was sabotaged ordered by the commander.

Armament:

Block 1: entrance: 1 embrasure for machinegun, 1 turret for light machinegun en 1 turret for heavy machinegun
Block 2: retractable copula for machinegun and 2 turrets for light machinegun
Block 3:  1 embrasure for 47 anti-tank gun and machine-gun, 1 embrasure for machine-gun, and 2 turrets for light machinegun


Nowadays the fort is completely destroyed all metal parts have been removed.

The fort is located on private terrain and access is not allowed and dangerous.
