The two casemates of Bois de Tappe are located in the forest with the same name. The main mission of both casemates was the defence of the road D18 between Beuveille and Longwy. The casemates cross their fire in the west with the casemate east of Haut d'Anguille and in the west with the casemate of Ermitage.
