Würtzenpas
During the cold war Austria build a network of small
bunkers and obstructions of defend the small neutral country. The Wurzenpass
in Karintie situated near the border with Italia and Slovenia was protected.
The fortifications on the Wurzenpass are now open for public and give the
visitors a realistic idea of the defence in the cold war 
During
the visit you will see the following objects:
- 2 Centurion tank turrets in fixed position with a
105 mm anti-tank gun and camouflaged as small house
- a position for anti aircraft machine gun
- covered trenches
- commando bunkers
- shelters
